Summer pastels – Latest from Muuto

With seamless integration of the back and seat rendered in wood, the Nerd Chair is both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. With its unique classic Scandinavian feel condensed into a design, the Nerd Chair won the Muuto Talent Award in 2011 and is now available in 10 different beautiful colors, the red one being my favorite at the moment.

The Workshop Coffee Table by Danish designer Cecilie Manz adds a new perspective to Scandinavian design through a focal emphasis on traditional materiality, craftsmanship and detailing.

Extending the expression of the Workshop Chair that was introduced in the spring of 2017, the Workshop Coffee Table translates the understated elements of Scandinavian craftsmanship into a simple design. Here, the seamless integration of the design’s table top and legs echoes the re ned design language of the Scandinavian design heritage.

With an appearance that is at once light and elegant, the Workshop Coffee Table ts perfectly into any living room, serving as a traditional coffee table as well as side table. In addition to its obvious function, the design can also be placed in the hallway to act as a counter object.

Bringing the aesthetics of industrial design into a modern approach to materials, the Unfold Pendant Lamp is a new perspective on timeless pendant lighting through its unique shade in a soft silicone rubber.

Originally introduced to Muuto’s collection in 2010, the design receives
a new perspective through three new contemporary shades: Burgundy, Beige-Green and Clay Brown. Holding a unique expression on their own, the three colors combined bring a subdued and re ned expression to the Unfold Pendant Lamp.

Acting as the core of the three colors is the Clay Brown hue, providing the design with a warm and natural glow. Alongside this comes the elegant interpretation of a deep red through a Burgundy shade, lending the design a sophisticated expression to the design. Lastly is the new Beige-Green color, representing an understated and humble sentiment with a refreshing and characteristic touch.

Bringing the industrial elements of factories into the home is the Enfold Sideboard by Danish designer Thomas Bentzen. Made from a lacquered steel that gently enfolds the components in solid oak, the Enfold Sideboard fuses cold and warm materials.

Adding to this are the sliding doors of the design in lacquered steel that has been punched and bended for a unique ridged surface, giving the design
a graphical and modern expression. Here, the steel elements of the Enfold Sideboard are presented in the colors of black, light grey, dusty green and sand yellow while the wooden parts have a clear lacquer for a natural touch. Enfold Sideboard is also available in monochrome versions of black/black, grey/grey, dusty green/dusty green and sand yellow/sand yellow.

The Enfold Sideboard comes in two sizes: one vertical, one horizontal, both with a set of adjustable shelves. Here, the horizontal one has two shelves that can be placed across ve different levels while the vertical one has a single shelf that can be placed across three different levels.

The design has no visible screws, making Enfold Sideboard a re ned and elevated storage design for any home, work space or hospitality setting.

Mimic Mirror brings new perspectives to the traditional table mirror by having a sculptural expression, making it both an object of decoration and use. The design features with repetitions throughout, seen with the graphic, triangular pattern on its back along with the reflection of its front glass and sculpted facets of the base. A great little mirror for the bedroom or the bathroom.

If you are still working and waiting for your holiday to begin. The Stacked Storage system has endless possibilities that can make your office shine in no time. Being both versatile and functional, the Stacked Storage System can be arranged and rearranged for the exact configuration that you’d like, whether it be as shelving setups, sideboards, bookcases or side table. The design can easily be refreshed by playing around with the space between the modules or mounting the modules with backboard directly onto the wall.
