Collaboration with Away
Meet the perfect carry-on
The count down to two weeks in Spain has begun. Even though we are always away for two weeks, we always travel with carry-on luggage. I like getting out of the airport as quickly as possible and on with my holiday. The house really has everything we need and if we run out of clothes to wear, we have a laundry day. When it is that ho,t you really just wear the same thing every day anyway. But I feel like this time will be a bit more challenging as we are traveling with a baby and babies don’t travel light. Therefor I sourced the perfect carry-on that is extra large, just to make sure that we have room for everything. This was the postcard from last year, a lot have happened since then!
When picking a suitcase I never go less than a 4 wheeler, it just makes everything so much easier. This time I chose an aluminum edition. It reminds me of an oldschool suitcase my mother had when she was young. No wheels just a handle and a 1000 stickers from the places she had been. I like the idea that the aluminum just like leather, gets patina from its travels. I know the first real dent will be really hard to accept but once it has a few, it just becomes a part of the look. The more you travel, the more stories me (and the suitcase) will have to tell. The suitcase also has a built in battery so I can easily charge my phone on the go, which is a must. It is made in a limited edition so make sure to get yours in time.
