A minimal kitchen in oak and terrazzo

In Copenhagen we celebrate easter with a lot of food surrounded by friends and family. All this eating got me crushing on this kitchen. Our kitchen is my least favorite room in our apartment and this could easily be a kitchen I would choose, If I was allowed to switch it out with the existing one.

This rustic kitchen from Nordiska Kök in dark oak becomes a timeless oasis along with the warm Terrazzo workshop, a beautiful environmental friendly natural material. I think we are moving more and more away from the traditional all-white-kitchen, and why go all white when there are so many amazing and beautiful materials to work with? The wood instantly makes the room warm and inviting and the Terrazzo not only looks great, but is also really kind to dust and grease.
