The Knot by Tove Tengå

This hand-shaped ceramic sculpture by Stockholm-based sculptor Tove Tengå is a graphic statement piece. The Knot cannot be untied without cutting and represents family bonds that are hard to break. Let’s just say it has us all tied up.

For Tove Tengå clay has been a fascination since an early age. It’s the constant collaboration between her own will and the desire of the clay that brings her inspiration and admiration for the clay. 

The Know is available at The Ode To. Each sculpture takes up to two days to finish, due to the slow process of shaping its hollow form.
