My morning routine My morning routine with the Creatista Plus

With a 1 year old, I am still not sleeping that well. I am not a morning person and have never been, but I hope that it is something you can become with time. It is sure more helpful when you have small kids. My new life as a freelancer, has opened of for some new routines. Every day and morning is different and that is really what I like about. I find it hard to work when the house is a mess, but sometimes you just need to see beyond that.

I walk Carla to daycare at around 8.00 am. She wakes up really early, so sometimes I have to hurry so she doesn’t fall a sleep on the way. But I like walking. It is a slow start to the day and we get some extra quality time with her. The view is stunning and I get reminded of, how lucky I am to live in this beautiful city.

When I get back home I get dressed. I can’t just sit in front of my computer all day in my pyjamas, even though it would be nice. But it does nothing good for my mindset. I have to get ready as if I had a “real job”. Then I fix my breakfast and a nice cup of coffee, that I can slowly enjoy while going through the most urgent e-mails. I would love to sit at a café and work all day, but it gets a bit expensive.

At the moment, I brew my coffee with the Creatista Plus from Nespresso. It is as close as I get to a real barista experience. I like my coffee with a bit of creamy milk and the Creatista Plus is so easy to use and gives a delicious result. Not to mention that the machine is stunning in the kitchen, with its stainless steel look. The look and feel makes me feel like a barista at home.
