Lately I have been looking at my wardrobe with a more minimal eye. The way that I dress, has changed a bit after becoming a mom. I don’t spend as much time getting ready, so I have to rely on what’s in my closet. It needs to be go to pieces with focus on great fit and comfort. I have downsized my closet, getting rid of anything I haven’t worn for years and donated it to charity. When picking new items, I source more seasonless styles in a high quality.

Aesther Ekme is a brand that I noticed from the start. Her ultralight, indispensible, carry-all tote bag Sac, is a timeless choice for the contemporary women. The middle slit compartment fits a 13’inch laptop, balancing the weight in the middle of the shoulder for maximum comfort. To have a regular bag with space for my computer, that does not look too corporate, is great! Many of my meetings are based in Copenhagen, so I am always biking around withy laptop and camera. See the colors here.

Aesther Ekme is an accessories brand founded in Copenhagen in 2016, the word ‘Ekme’ hailing from Crimean Tatar describing a traditional shoulder bag, whilst ‘Aesther’ derives from classicism. Together, and subliminally, the name reads as ‘classic bags’.

Aesther Ekme designs purify and elevate classic shapes. Trimmings, patterns and hardware, all devices commonly used to create signature bags are removed, realising quality, accessible leather goods that do not overwhelm their wearer, but instead enable her possibilities.

The Mini Sac is also a favorite of mine. Great for vacation and for evening use. A small bag that can still fit my camera, gets a big plus in my book. The Jojoba yellow is adorable but this is really a bag that would look great in any color.
