I started with a mood board to make sure I had all the right colors. I ordered everything online and when you do that, I find it helpfull to make sure you get the right things. I had also been to the H&M Home store to feel the quality but when you are on bike most of the time and need to pick your child up on the way home, online shopping is just more convenient.

On the weekends I spend most of my morning in a robe and glasses. We have a long family breakfast before each of us starts our day. My bonus daughter can spend hours looking through my jewellery box and I don’t blame her. For the bedding I chose a jacquard-weave in a beautiful beige color that matches great with my blue curtains. The bedding has a very nice structure in the fabric and pretty detail around the edges. It almost felt like I was spending the night at a fancy hotel. The soft leather slippers was the perfect little detail.

Having a scented candle by your bed gives such a wonderful smell even though it is not lid. It is also good for a cozy reading light. The picture is an old postcard from a store that I really liked so I decided to frame it. A very easy and fast little deco tip.
